Michael Fekete

I came to sculpture as a physical therapist. Working with my hands for many years gave me a strong appreciation for structure, movement, balance, and touch.

I am drawn to sculpture because of its physical presence — the way forms curve, meet, and interact with light and space. I work mainly in stone and wood, allowing the character of the material to guide the process.

My work ranges from abstract to figurative, often exploring themes of nature, memory, faith, and human experience. Above all, I try to create pieces that feel honest, balanced, and alive.
